If you’re looking to save more on your energy bill, then a solar battery will be the next step on your journey to Net Zero. Solar batteries are great for maximising your solar system efficiency and becoming energy self-sufficient.

Cheaper Home Batteries Program
The Cheaper Home Batteries Program will commence on July 1st 2025, providing an up-front discount on the purchase and installation of home batteries. This will lower the cost to households by around 30%. The incentive expands the Small-Scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES), which already provides the framework for the long-running and hugely popular National Solar Panel Rebate. In addition to homes, this subsidy is also available to small businesses and community facilities.
The government battery rebate is uncapped, meaning there’s no limit on the number of subsidies available. The official start date is July 1st 2025. Solar batteries installed from now until then are also eligible – but only if they are not switched on until the 1st July (however, attached new solar systems can be used immediately).
Join The Virtual Power Plant!
We are looking for homeowners that are interested in joining the North Queensland Virtual Power Plant (VPP). As part of the VPP you will get paid to support the grid along with all the energy savings and back up power that comes with a battery. When we join hundreds of Batteries together in our North Queensland Community through a VPP, it becomes a powerful power plant that can support the grid during critical events.
