The 2013 Master Electrician Awards were held in Townsville on Saturday night August 24th.
Horan & Bird were very pleased to be finalists in 6 out of the 9 awards that were given out on the night and were delighted to win 2 major awards. Horan & Bird won for the 3rd year in a row ” Solar Installation of the Year” and for the first time “Commercial Project of the Year.
The Solar Installation of the year was for the 56kW Solar system on The Good Shepherd Nursing Home. We would like to thank Trina Solar and Powerone for their support on this project.
The Commercial Project of the year was for the new Sporting and Retail complex in Kirwan. We would like to thank Kevin Rebgetz the developer, Formset the Builders and Clipsal for the lighting design.
Furthermore a big thank you to the Horan & Bird operations team who completed a great standard of work.
